Basical Dermal Filler
Course OVERVIEW
This course is designed to aid you to fully understand from the initial history of dermal fillers and the applications and various techniques and how to apply these into practice, by having a high ratio of models per student. You will be proficient in how to assess signs of ageing in a client’s skin and how to prevent, foresee and treat effectively complications that may arise. Our students will be taught all aspects related anatomy and physiology of the areas treated and furthermore will gain valuable knowledge of the side effects and contra-indications, which are all included in our Health & Safety Module.
Due to the different aspects of Cosmetic Practices that may be involved, this course will cover all of the subjects further introduced below. Effort and time will be given in the practical training sessions where you will have a 1-2-1 practical tuition, having at least three models in practice to start your case studies and at least a further 6 models when assisting other students in doing their practical training. Therefore, all together you should have been exposed 9-12 times the same procedure in different live models. These treatments are practically safe when done correctly, but there are side effects and complications that may occur. Dealing with unwanted side effects and troubleshooting them will be explained and demonstrated throughout the theory and practical sessions. Alternative therapies will als be discussed, especially when related to younger clients. Ethical and moral discussion will take place during this training section. As our academy is not affiliated to any particular brands and the tutor will explain the various products on the market, so each student is free to make an educated choice of what dermal filler product they will like to use when qualified.
